Vault Assessments
Developed in collaboration between the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) and Vretta, the Vault Assessment Suite is a proven, year-long assessment-for-learning solution designed for students in Grades 3, 6, and 9. Fully aligned with the Ontario Curriculum, it provides multiple assessment opportunities throughout the school year to help educators understand student thinking, guide responsive instruction, and monitor progress in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. The Vault platform provides a unique parallel experience for students, enabling them to practise in an environment with the same features, functionality, and challenges they will experience during formal assessments.

Authentic Learning
The Vault Assessment Suite is curriculum-based providing flexible opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning through a highly intuitive platform. Digital tools such as text-to-speech, highlighter, and calculator are built into the platform, ensuring students are supported to show their thinking.
Curriculum-Aligned Items
The content in the assessments are not only impactful and engaging, but are also designed to be clear, concise, while also using curriculum vocabulary. With a mixture of multiple-choice, drag-and-drop, to responses which students are required to construct and input themselves, the assessments truly create an inclusive experience.
Yearlong Assessment Cycle
The Assessment Suite is designed as a continuous, year-round cycle providing multiple touchpoints throughout the school year to observe student thinking, monitor growth, and plan responsive instruction. Each assessment builds on the previous one, giving educators a clear and evolving picture of student progress and understanding.
